Direct hydrogen production

Microbial assisted electrochemical hydrogen production is geared towards a future hydrogen economy as an alternative for electricity production. This process requires energy input in the form of an applied voltage, but returns 2-3 fold energy in the form of hydrogen gas. The electricity for the process can be supplied from electricity-generating MEGAWATTER^TM modules, or from utilization of part of the produced hydrogen.
