Electricity generation in stabilization ponds

Rural areas in many parts of the world utilize stabilization ponds for wastewater treatment. This type of treatment is indeed suitable where land is abundant, but operating and maintenance are challenging. A sediment MEGAWATTER^TM system in a pond would improve wastewater treatment, and produce some electricity for additional operations, while retaining the nature of the process.
